The Infrastructure
Roads - Wide and smooth roads crisscross Noida and
connect it to Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and other
neighbouring towns.
Power - Power supply is uninterrupted. Release of power
is in time and the sanctioned load is always
commensurate with requirement keeping future demands in
view. The existing power infrastructure is undergoing
massive expansion with additional sub-stations and
capacity.
Water - Water supply is adequate and has been
supplemented by water from the River Ganga. An ambitious
plan is also under way to set up rain-water harvesting
facilities in Noida as an alternate source through
advanced and indigenous technology.
Communications - Digital and optical fibre- based
telecommunication facilities are the key to local call
connectivity with Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad
and other neighbouring towns, at reduced communication
cost. Plans are under consideration for bringing more
towns into the local connectivity network.
Law and order - The police force has built a reputation
for actively maintaining round-the- clock vigilance,
making law and order a matter of minimal public concern.
Professionals and skilled manpower - As skilled
manpower and professionals are available locally,
manpower hiring costs are reduced. However, when
necessary, they can be hired from Delhi because of the
proximity and excellent transportation facilities.
